When the original Bascom came to Florida at the turn of the last century to help Henry Flagler build the Key West Railroad, he brought with him his love for thick cut chops and juicy steaks. It was a great lunch today sitting outside and enjoying the beautiful view of boats, water and the gorgeous weather.Lamont was a great waiter with a wonderful sense of humor. We were exchanging gifts with friends. Beautiful way to celebrate Christmas.

What an amazing night for a random Monday! From the entry to the exit, Bascom's delivered. The hosts were friendly and quick about our reservation, the food terrific but the service is what sold us. I am a hospitality-professional and i cannot help but measure other venues against my standards. Our server, Derek, was flawless. I'm talking table-crumbed, cocktail fork down before the appetizer arrived, flawless. I would be hard-pressed to entrust a holiday or other special occasion elsewhere. Thank you!

The food was delicious! We have been to many restaurants like this, and this will be one of our favorites! And you would never know it where it’s tucked away, but it certainly is a hidden gem!
