For over 40 years, our family has served traditional Cantonese food and dim sum to generations of devoted customers. We’re proud to continue that tradition, while at the same time, making it our own.For centuries, it has been Chinese custom to pair dim sum’s delicious bite-size dumplings, buns and other small snacks with freshly brewed tea for morning and mid-afternoon meals. This pairing led to the expression “yum cha,” which not only means “to drink tea,” but also symbolizes getting together with friends and family.At Little Bird, we’re starting our own tradition.     Service by Miles at the bar was outstanding. He instantly made me comfortable. When making recommendations he wanted to know my tastes to help point me in the right direction. He definitely succeeded. With minor adjustments, thanks to Miles, I had the Holiday Kaiseki. NOT ONE BAD BITE from beginning to end of these 7 courses. Fish and seafood, fresh and bright. Wagyu Steak just the right amount of fat. The dessert of eggnog mousse and apple filling. Do I feel guilty? Yes. But I’d do it all over again. A shouldn’t miss meal.

    It was delightful. We were on our way to the airport and this was our last memorable experience of Vancouver. They took our bags and stored them for us and took us to a table with a view over the whole restaurant. (I only with the had an elevator to get to the mezzanine level where we were seated. Every bite of food was excellent and exceeded my expectations of the dish. Our server was there when we needed her and did not intrude "just to check in" like many do. It was a bustling place and we were delighted. We'll be back.

    We received a welcoming and warm reception. Our food constraints were considered and led to good advice on which dishes would be most appropriate, a delicious meal of slow-cooked lamb and marinated chicken skewers. There are many other middle eastern restaurants in Vancouver, but none where food tastes this authentic.

    We really enjoyed our meal again. Excellent server. Nice amd warm on a rainy cold day. Noise level was quiet so we could talk easily to each other. Delicious food and wine. Love the decor. It is a warm and inviting space. Highly recommend.
