It would have been good to know that this also came with some sourdough, as we probably wouldn't have ordered the entree sourdough as well.\nI had the 300g Porterhouse, which was cooked a pretty much perfect medium rare, with some great char from the grill. Food was impeccable as always. Our server was a peach (tall, slim guy with long hair and beaut makeup) so attentive, right level of checking, and so helpful with the menu. 10/10 for service, will return for that alone. The insanely delicious food is a bonus 😋
We saw that "Tipsy Cow Steakhouse" on Lindsay St in Northbridge had recently opened, so we thought we would give it a try, as it was close to The Ellington, where we had a show at 7pm.
Our server Julia was very attentive, without being too intrusive.
Our food was great, the king prawn entree shared between my wife and I was just enough along with some sourdough to wake up our taste buds before our mains arrived.
My wife had the lobster and prawn ravioli special which was really nice, cooked a perfect al dente. It would have been good to know that this also came with some sourdough, as we probably wouldn't have ordered the entree sourdough as well.
I had the 300g Porterhouse, which was cooked a pretty much perfect medium rare, with some great char from the grill. I got the Tipsy Butter go with it, which was a little different, I didn't feel it had much of a rum flavour to it.
We will be back, will probably try the steak on the lava stone next visit, as a table nearby had it and it sounded and smelt great.
Ribs where lovely. Not sure they where worth $80 for a full rack🤔
I had the cob salad. For $25 it was average. Lots of lettuce. 6 cherry tomatoes cut in half a bit of cucumber and less than quarter of an avocado.
Sweet potato fries where cood when hot.
Didn't get offended water so helped ourselves.
Didn't get up sold more drinks.
For 3 of us with drinks cost just under $200
Thankyou so much for our first experience with Japanese cuisine. Eric was wonderful with his suggestions and staff were fantastic. I was celebrating my birthday and enjoyed ourselves immensely . Thanks again Eric
