Red Dog is an authentic Bar and American BAR-B-Q restaurant, serving 18-hour roast ribs, brisket, aged chuck steak burgers and much more, all best enjoyed with tasty cocktails or milkshakes.Barbeque grew up in the South of the USA where cooks learned to slow roast cuts of meat over fire pits to make them tender. Exposure to the smoke of the smouldering wood added a distinctive smoky and juicy taste to the meat. Our award-winning smokers have been imported from the USA and are built to recreate the cooking process of those original fire pits. We use the traditional American woods of hickory and mesquite to give a full smoke flavour, and the meat stays in the smoker for up to 18 hours.

Fantastic afternoon tea in wonderful newly refurbished surroundings. Good choice of sandwiches and wonderful scones and homemade cakes,beautifully presented. Service was excellent, attentive but not obtrusive. Choice of teas and coffee's and alcoholic drinks available if wanted. Keep up the good work Morley Hayes ,we will return.

Food and service was great as ever. We were booked upstairs & half of the restaurant was being used for a function - it didn’t affect the experience too much but was very loud and it would have been nice to have a heads up before we arrived for our reservation.
