La Provence de Mer is a "popup" French Bistro opposite the Point Londsdale Lighthouse, located at the Point Lonsdale Guest House created for the 2024 / 2025 summer period open every night from 16 December (unless booked out). It specialises in LOCAL Provincial food from both the sea and land in and around the Bellarine Peninsula all prepared in a French Bistro style and atmosphere and frivolity! 2 plates $75,99 (could be one main and one entree or one desert) 3 PLates $86,99 (could be one main and one or two entrees OR one or two deserts or more traditionally a combination of entree, main and desert) Choose from our Provence menu or the menu of the day from the “special Board” board.Our Chef is classically trained and is passionate about provincial food!!

    The food at La Provence de Mer was outstanding, the best we’ve ever had at any restaurant. We loved the whole experience, the magnificent restaurant and the great service. We will be coming back.

    Tasty food, some French and some molecular cuisine techniques and a great display of Australian produce, including finger limes, local Wagyu beef, kangaroo and green ants, as well as a lovely cheese display cabinet....amazing flowers goat cheeses that rival the French ones' would have been nice to include Holy Goat. Wasn't a fan of the Chinese caviar (Russian or Iranian are much better...but wars in both regions may limit the supply), but in the absence of good quality one, it would have been nice to find an alternative ingredient. The first dish was certainly one of the stars as well as the kangaroo. Definitely full after 13 dishes!.... Very nice to invite guests into the kitchen to participate and chat to one of the 15 chefs and see the magic from up close! Overall, a great experience to be repeated.
