Akbar's established in 1995 with 12 branches in the UK now opens it's doors in Blackburn with the most vibrant interior design located at King Georges' Hall. Authentic curry at it's best open from 5pm Monday to Sunday. Come and try our signature lamb chops, karahi dishes, giant nan bread and a very carefully selected choice of wines, beer and spirits. Welcome to the Black Bull.Tucked away in rural Lancashire, between cloud topped hills, green fields, rolling pastures, and lots of cows... sits The Black Bull Inn.Nestled in the picturesque village of Old Langho, our stone building has been here since the 1500s. We opened our first restaurant in Castlefield, Manchester in 2004 with a clear aim: To deliver quality food to local customers at a reasonable price in a sharp, modern space with friendly, unpretentious service.     From the moment we were greeted, to the moment we left the staff were friendly, helpful and ensured we had everything we needed. The food was delicious, the ambience was lovely and value for money was good. We will definitely be be back.

    A wonderful Sunday lunch in a convivial setting with the doggie roast dinner a very welcome treat for our pupsters. Will definitely be returning in the new year.

    Arrived !! The bar was really busy due to private party in the upstairs area , Shown straight to our table without asking would we like drinks in the bar .. had to ask for the wine list , when the wine arrived it was put on the table , with the twist top!! Never asked if we would like to taste !! However our choice of food was delicious!! We both had lamb shank , our desserts were also fabulous .. so compliments to the chef & kitchen team The DJ although great felt like we were at an Ibiza beach club , maybe next time we should check the music ambience , last time we came Ella Shaw was singing and it was perfect for the venue .. The staff are lovely and friendly maybe just tweak the finer things of service ..

    Our server was absolutely fantastic, full of energy and very attentive. The food was fantastic and came out very speedy.
