Our newly refurbished restaurant is now open. Join us for relaxed beachside dining with the most stunning backdrop of Blackpool Sands. Our Head Chef Sam has created a range of fantastic dishes from beachside staples to seafood specials. Join us daily from 9am to 4pm; with breakfast served until 11.00am and lunch available until close. Teas, coffees, drinks, cakes and pastries served all day. Delicious Sunday lunch through the Winter months. Please note that during the summer we do not take bookings and welcome walk ins only.

Welcome to The Elephant Restaurant The Elephant is a bright, informal restaurant which is situated near the beautiful Torbay harbour. It was the first restaurant in Torquay to be awarded a Michelin star which it maintains today. We aim to source all our ingredients locally and sustainably, many from our dedicated farm in Brixham. I had the most wonderful lunch at Gather with 3 friends. The service was friendly and attentive and the waitress described each dish clearly so we knew what delicacies presented to us we were about to devour. The presentation of the food was first class, the flavours and unique dishes were amazing and the little “free” extras such as freshly baked bread, macaroons and chocolates to finish were a perfect and much welcomed addition to a delicious excellent value meal. Highly recommended.

We really enjoyed our meal here. I thought the menu was a bit limited, but the food was great. It was very quiet for a Saturday night which was a shame.
