The Barn is one of Block Island's best kept secrets. This unique dining venue features an open kitchen and a wood fired grill, which creates wonderful flavors that cannot be duplicated at home. As soon as you step into the Barn, you immediately feel welcomed. A combination of our culinary staff cooking right in front of you and the intimate ambiance creates a perfect evening. ** Reservations are highly recommended and credit cards may be taken to hold your time. A $100 charge will be incurred if a reservation is not canceled within 8 hours of your scheduled arrival time. This setting is designed for a quiet dining experience for adults and children above the age of 12 only. Respectful dress required. **Please be aware of booking counter top seating. Please know if you do make a "counter top" reservation, this will be at our Chef's Bar, which will be at bar stool height.

Kimberly's was established in June of 2014 in the former home of Harry's Restaurant. The people behind it have been mainstays in the industry, on Block Island and New England, for decades. We always strive for the freshest, most local ingredients. We have a wide variety of seafood dishes, fresh salads, steaks, and pasta dishes. In addition, Kimberly's has a large wine list, beer selection and full bar. We have indoor, outdoor and bar seating. Open Wed-Sat 5 pm, closed Halloween & Thanksgiving. You can make a reservation @kimberlysblockisland.com from 5 to 8:15 pm. For parties greater than 6 you must reserve by calling 401-466-8600. You must cancel 24 hrs in advance or a charge of $15/pp charged. Same if you make and cancel reservation on same day or no show.Kimberly's Catering can host large parties , the most sought after off-site caterer on BI (it's true, ask any local!).

Originally a historic US Coast Guard Station built in 1888 by famed architects McKim, Mead & White, now a spectacularly located waterfront restaurant overlooking Narragansett Bay.     Food and atmosphere was excellent as always. Richard our waiter was excellent as were the other support staff. Perfect place to dine when on Block Island any time of year.

    As always, the Coast Guard House lived up to its excellent reputation for outstanding food, service, and friendliness. The menu options and wine choices are also excellent. Very highly recommended. It also happens to be a very historic building that was repurposed very appropriately into the excellent restaurant that it is and continues to be.

    Wonderful dinner at Winfield's. Highly recommend the cod, and the salmon entrees, as well as the seasonal pumpkin cheesecake, and the berry cobbler with homemade sage ice cream. Julie, our server, was perfect. Great conversational dialog. Only 'negative', and was minor, the Tuna Tartare appetizer was somewhat bland, and the wonton triangle 'chips' were slightly overcooked. Could have used a bit more spice, and 1 or 2 more chips. Still, Winfield's is one of our favorites on Block Island.

    Amazing cocktails-love the watermelon man. Very romantic and cozy. Very classy. Excellent service and chicken dish. Shrimp piccata was delicious but could have been slightly larger. Excellent focaccia nice and squishy. High class place. Heard the coffee is excellent. Getting coffee next!
