General Public is inspired by trying to imagine what an upscale English pub would be if it had the heart of an American brasserie (and was open 11 to 11). It’s also going to signal a little bit of steakhouse, but not too much. And finally, it will look behind itself at the Black Hoof, which you will see reflected in James Santon’s menu here and there. In terms of vibe, the main floor is ‘everything’s gone green’, with lush comfortable banquette seating, warm wood, and barstools designed for long conversations over many cocktails. Upstairs you’ll find a completely different space that transports you to a peachy 80s dream. The restaurant is beautiful very clean great views very romantic the music was a little too loud the food was very good service very good not the best I have had on ether point besides the restaurant it’s self and the atmosphere the only thing that was outstanding was the carrot cake I mean this was outstanding out of this world by far the best carrot cake I have ever eaten hats off I would return just because of it you really have the best ever I will remember that for years

Top of the list was our server Ali. He was friendly affable with a sense of humour. He made lunch a very enjoyable experience Go in eyes wide open though. Greek glass of viogner $39. Greek salad $34. Alf good but imho way overpriced. By the way the 3 course lunch originally 45$is now only 2 course
