Lovely setting, welcoming staff and excellent service. On the whole the meal was very good ( slightly off putting ‘too sweet’ carrots) delicious gravy, meat and vegetables. Interesting cheese course, homemade brack and local cotherstone rounded off a good experience.

Fabulous place for Sunday lunch. Absolutely the best in the area and worth travelling for. Great produce, superbly executed, lovely atmosphere, great staff. 11/10!!!

My mum and I had a lovely meal at Runa’s restaurant; it was quiet, and we had a lovely cosy booth table in the corner. My mum had the main’s portion of mussels, which came with prawn crackers and some fries, and she thoroughly enjoyed it. I had the Pan Fried Steamed Trout, which was also wonderful. We both had a dessert, (Crumble sundae and sticky toffee pudding) which were lovely. Josh, our server, had a great personality and gave us amazing service. He was polite, friendly and very attentive. We had a lovely evening and cannot recommend Runa enough! Thank you team!

Thoroughly enjoyed our visit and our guests were delighted with the whole experience.
