Cooking over a central grill makes for great theatrical cooking from our open-plan kitchen, overseen by Head Chef Nick Galer. Very nice lunch, service wasn’t fast, but we were in no hurry, so that worked for us.. all parties had different main courses and everyone thought it was delicious.. lovely table overlooking the river, so will definitely be back ..

Unusually for a Friday the Spring Inn seemed very quiet hence the noise level low. As always food and service good. If I have one criticism it would be the lack of a round table if a group of people go. Last time I went there were 8 of us and it is very difficult maintaining conversation. Would thoroughly recommend the Spring Inn.
