Tim Zekki was born and raised in Cyprus but has lived and worked in the UK for 35 years. He has a passion for local and seasonal ingredients, sourcing sustainable produce and items that he forages in Somerset woodlands and along the coast. Tim’s menus reflect his travels worldwide and the food he loves. ‘My passion,’ he says, ‘is to combine simple ingredients - with some elaborate sauces - and my aim being nothing more than to delight the palate.’ In addition to the à la carte selection of sharing dishes, Tim offers a set, fixed-price multi-course menu once a month. .Local produce includes lamb and beef from Wonky Horn just outside Wiveliscombe, from the town’s local butchers, Thorne’s, and vegetables and salad sourced from nearby Wagtail Farm and Ray’s Veg at Halse.

The Martlet has earned sincere fondness from customers for many years. Situated in picturesque Langford Budville, just a stone's throw from Wellington, we offer really fantastic food and genuinly warm hospitality. Inside our pretty country pub you'll find log burners, 17th century flagstone floors and a delightful glass dining room. Our menu is a blend of stand-out restaurant-style dishes, tempered with comforting pub favourites. All created and prepared by our talented team of Chefs - Marcin, Shane and Alfie. If you are looking for a quintessential English country pub then look no further. The White Horse is nestled opposite the beatuiful church in Bradford on Tone, with a lovely river walk along the Tone just round the corner. Inside you'll find a cosy bar, complete with log burner, and a spacious restaurant. Our stunning garden is the perfect spot for al fresco dining in the summer months, and our wonderful old skittle alley (complete with it's own bar) is hireable for all kinds of events.Our menu keeps it simple and offers all the traditional pub favourites, whilst our daily changing specials board focuses on creative dishes using the best of seasonal produce. On the bar you'll find a full range of lagers and local cider, with a fab wine list from local vinter Paddy Magill, as well as our very own cask ale from Black Bear Brewery. We open at 9am and serve a hearty breakfast menu until 11am daily.

The highest quality home made food using only the best locally sourced ingredients​We only use locally sourced fresh produce, and if it’s at all possible to make it ourselves – we do! - including all sauces, desserts, breads and ice creams. PLEASE book whenever possible in the shoot season as we have many shoot parties and are so very well supported by our locals that we often dont have a table unless you have pre-booked - but do call us as we can sometimes get a last minute cancellation or we can squeeze in a couple of people
