The Village Anchor Restaurant and Anchor Bar on the main floor bring together stone, red leathers, rich worn velvets, wrought iron, dark woods, Italian appointments, Carrera marble, and the original crimson red beer taps from Churchill Down’s Silks Bar.     This was our second time dining at Steak & Bourbon and I have to say this has been our favorite dining experience in Louisville! Our server was attentive, hospitable and excellent! For drinks, my wife ordered the Bourbon Smash and I ordered a Blue Moon. Our dining experience began with bread that was salted perfectly with a house made butter candle nestled in the middle. This alone is an impressive start to our date night! Then we ordered the Steak and Cheese Hand Pies which were the perfect combination of flakey crust, steak, cheese and sauce! Our server had refilled our beverages and reset our utensils between each plate. The biggest decision of the evening, which steak to choose? We both ordered the center cut filet, I went for the 10 oz and she ordered the 7 oz, both with Au Poivre sauce. Our side was the Shepherd's Pie. Everything was perfectly cooked, tender and we ended our dining experience more than satisfied! We can't wait for our next visit to Steak and Bourbon!

    We have been to Malone’s several times since it opened its location in Louisville. As in the past, the service was attentive and timely. Rachel was engaging and efficient. Our twin filets were delicious and prepared perfectly. A nice way to spend a New Years Day afternoon.
