A nomadic group of shepherds who created and nurtured the roots of Hellenic cooking as we know it. Straying from the tried-and-true island cuisine, we're rediscovering Greek fare sourced from rural mountains, lakes and villages of Central and Northern Greece.Bar Vlaha captures the true soul of Greek cooking with rustic and nomadic traditions using charcoal and open fire gastra techniques. Our two-story fish emporium elevates the 40-year legacy of our original location in Chestnut Hill (a few doors down from where we are now). Here we feature a large raw bar, open kitchen and glass-enclosed lounge. In warmer months, we retract the lounge’s glass walls and ceiling for drinking under the sun or stars. And we open our patio, overlooking Hammond Pond, for al fresco dining. Join us upstairs at our restaurant or shop our fish market on the first floor.

    Krasi delivers a bustling, upscale Mediterranean dining experience with standout Greek dishes and attentive service in a slightly cramped setting. Although my table by the door felt drafty and some offerings, like the octopus, seemed pricey for their portions, the tableside tzatziki preparation and especially the flavorful, filling lamb made it worthwhile. The knowledgeable staff’s thoughtful wine recommendations and the overall quality of ingredients make Krasi an ideal choice for special occasions or a memorable date night.

    Perfect evening. We sat in the front section at chestnut hill and it was perfect. Dinner was delicious and Jack was excellent! Please consider another Seasons 52 location on the South Shore!!

    We had a birthday lunch at Eastern Standard and it was perfect ! The food was delicious and the service was excellent. The salmon was cooked just right - cheese tray was yummy and wine and cocktail menu is extensive. Oysters were delicious - will definitely come back.
