A contemporary take on the classic oyster bar, located in Fort Greene, Brooklyn, near BAM, Barclay's, the Paramount, and Atlantic Terminal. Strange Delight finds its influence in New Orleans and is also inspired by the rich history of oysters in New York. Our menu consists of regional seafood prepared in a variety of styles: Charbroiled Oysters and Shrimp Remoulade share the stage with classic seafood towers and Oysters Rockefeller. A rotating selection of larger plates features items such as Black Cod Almondine and Blackened Swordfish Belly.To drink, Strange Delight updates old classics, serving both a Hurricane and Ramos Gin Fizz service for 2, alongside Martinis and Sazeracs.     Nobu offers delicious food, exceptional service, and the best lychee martini. However, the reception staff’s aloof and unwelcoming demeanor often leaves much to be desired. One can’t help but wonder who they think they are, given their role—likely earning a modest wage—yet carrying an air of superiority.

    The River Cafe is probably the most beautiful and maybe the best restaurant in NYC. The views are stunning and the service without comparison. We had the vegetarian menu which was varied and delicious . There were a number complimentary “ gifts” from the chef in addition to the amuse bouche . The bread was excellent, beet salad was prepared table side , I had the truffle risotto and my companion the simple pasta dish which was also delicious . We both had the signature dessert - the Brooklyn bridge . I can recommend this restaurant highly . It’s expensive but worth every cent.

    Incredible dishes which all blended together seamlessly into a cohesive meal. Our server was so helpful walking us through the options and the overall vibe was relaxed, yet felt fancy. We will be returning to sample more on the menu. Congrats to Ham and the team

    This is such a unique and wonderful NYC experience. The food was fabulous, and the space was gorgeous. Everyone was so nice and welcoming to us, and it's so fun to get to know an up-and-coming chef. I can't recommend it enough!
