Welcome to The Tarratine. We focus on providing an elegant yet approachable experience for our community. Created with skill and passion, the menu features an exciting array of seafood, streak, brunch foods, and signature items from our Executive Chef and his culinary team. This is within our historic gentlemen's social club, built-in 1907. Our spacious venue allows for individual experiences in various spaces, including our rooftop terrace. The Tarratine provides a variety of spirits, cocktails, local brews on tap, and an approachable wine list. Parties of 12 - 18 guests will be offered a reduced restaurant menu.Parties with 19+ guests, please call us at 207-992-4090, and someone will love to talk to you about your special night.We allow you to bring in a cake from state-licensed bakeries; a $5 per person cutting fee will be added to the final bill.Due to the historic nature of the building, our upper levels are not handicap accessible.

The Barncastle Hotel and Restaurant serves Alsatian-inspired cuisine using local and seasonal ingredients. Havana has been committed to serving local and organic meats, produce and seafood since it opened 25 years ago. All of our meats are “naturally raised” meaning no steroids, antibiotics or hormones and “humanely raised” meaning room to roam, proper shelter and gentle handling. We make every effort to buy only sustainably harvested seafood, primarily from the Gulf of Maine. We have consistently searched out New England farmers and fisherfolk to purchase product that is not only great tasting but great for the environment and local economy as well.

This was a date night/staycation with my husband. And we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and were surprised by the menu and how effortlessly it flowed. 100% would recommend to anyone willing to try something new and quiet!

The restaurant was amazing. The ambiance was perfect for nice date night. The service was amazing. The added features on the 2nd and 3rd floor of games is fun. The food was very good. We started with calamari which was good then I had the steak and my husband had the lobster seafood sausage stew. I think the steak was good but the calamari and the stew were excellent.

A true star on the Maine coast. Star level service - a menu with wonderfully atypical & eclectic offerings you don't see at other modern cuisine restaurants. This is not your typical fancy resort restaurant - but instead a passion of its owners, Owen & Lizzie. If you're in the Blue Hill area, don't miss it.
