In 2005, Annie and Craig Stoll annexed the space next door to their James Beard Award winning Delfina restaurant fulfilling a long time dream of bringing Neapolitan-inspired pizzas to San Francisco. The 600 square foot space was an instant neighborhood hotspot, and Pizzeria Delfina became the ""darling of the San Francisco food scene"" opening a second location in 2008 to popular demand. Fourth time eating here and another outstanding meal. Restaurant and bar was packed on a wet Friday night and full of energy. All dishes (steak, chicken and moussaka) were excellent. Creative cocktail selections.

As always, the team at Velvet48 are fantastic. Drea and Emily are always friendly, professional and knowledgeable about the wines. It's nice walking in and they make me feel like home. The splash of rosé to start off the evening is always a great touch. The "book" of wines is 32 pages long - a great selection of many varietals. They also have a great selection of wine by the glass. Highly recommended.
