The nineteenth century former oxen house is the newest addition to the family of meticulously restored farm buildings. We visited as a couple on Christmas Eve - was very happy with service / quality of the meal …… and the cost. Highly recommended - would definitely visit again. Special thanks to the 2 you young ladies serving on Christmas Eve - great service !

A very cosy environment and a busy atmosphere gave the Fleece a really nice buzz. There was some big tables in enjoying Xmas work meals and so we were advised that service may be a little slower but in fact everything went very smoothly. The staff were all very friendly and professional despite being busy All the food was delicious, the service excellent and the choice of 0% beer very good! Portions were decent, there were some nice ‘gastro’ touches like the crisp chicken skin accompanying the Chicken Schnitzel and the truffle mayo. And the Tiramisu was stunning! All in all, great food, friendly service and a cosy venue
