This traditional restaurant opened its doors in 2009 as a tribute to our grandmother Maria Corona, born in Mexico City in 1917. The history of the Corona family is extremely interesting, dates from the time of the General Ramon Corona who, during the French intervention played a fundamental role in the fall of the Emperor Maximilian. This restaurant is the guardian of the traditional techniques of mestizo cuisine, with flavors and recipes dating back to the times of the Mexican Independence until the beginning of the twentieth century. Dedicated to our grandmother Maria Corona born in 1916 in Mexico City, here you will find her traditional recipes along with her cooking secrets as they’ve been handed down from generation to generation.     The ambiance is beautiful. Drinks are always good. Just a little slow in getting the first drink. Came with our food order. The show was impressive and enjoyable. Would highly recommend.

    Food and atmosphere were amazing! There was some confusion on coursing, but other than that everything was amazing. As an Italian American visiting Mexico I approve! Will definitely be back the next time I visit Cabo!

    The food was delicious. We did the tasting menu and loved everything. The mushroom bisque were amazing as was the miso fish. The chef would come out to explain what we were being served and to see if we enjoyed our food.

    We first visited this restaurant when there were 3 tables. They are generous with their portions and food quality is very good…..except for the soggy fish tacos! We wanted to send them back but it would have interrupted the flow. Price point encourages us to visit a couple times each Cabo visit and food is excellent. You have to be in the mood for noise - the band moving from table to table can really be tooooo much. We had a big bday table next to us and they played for 5 songs straight during which time we could not have a conversation. Would be great to have piped in music. Overall this is one of my current favorite restaurants in Cabo. Never change the mole recipe as it’s absolutely delicious.

    The food here is unbelievable. Amazingly beautiful, complex dishes. There’s something for everyone. We loved the octopus, shrimp tacos, crab enchiladas, and shrimp imperial.
