A gem of a village pub serving pizzas, artisan burgers, pub classics with great pints and playgrounds. Set in the North Herts village of Weston. Acres of beer garden, kids play areas, families, muddy boots and dogs very welcome in our bar area. Our beautiful Pavilion restaurant is open for all day for reservations Mondays through to Sunday. Our normal pub garden benches will be available as usual on a walk-in basis for food from our outside kitchen! Given the difficult problem in the kitchen the poor service could be excused . Steak and ale pie and fish and chips both were delicious, the fish light and crispy. Tender steak pie , thick gravy. Large portions. Great value. Indoor dining needed heating on this occasion.

Probably our favourite Anglian Country Inn of the many we have frequented. Lovely pub in a great location with great choice of beer and consistently good food and service.
