Ilan Cohen is a self-taught chef who began his career in Jerusalem, Israel more than 20 years ago. Along with his wife Lauren they opened Falafel Bistro & Wine Bar in 2007, DVASH’s sister location, and has been serving authentic-Israeli cuisine to the South Florida community for more than a decade.     Another wonderful experience at Cooper’s Hawk! Our server was very friendly and efficient! We tried the new prime rib sliders on their happy hour menu and they are amazing! Highly recommend!. I tried the gnocchi à la Vodka for the first time and wow! Lots of flavor! I could put that Sauce on anything! The server was great about keeping my son supplied with the pretzel bread and butter, it’s his favorite food group. It really can’t ever go wrong with a night out at Cooper’s Hawk in Coconut Creek

    Amazing night with friends! The service was GREAT from ALL of the staff. The food and drinks were delicious, and Krista the singer in the bar was extremely talented! (We will be back to see her again tomorrow) If you make it for happy hour it’s awesome and it’s menu has plenty to chose from. Our 40 min drive to this place (beautiful decor) will not detour us from frequently coming back. Best all around experience in a long time!! Thank you City Fish!!

    I love Sette Mezzo! This last experience was not up to par. I ordered penne a la vongole. The clams were delicious however the "soupy sauce" lacked taste. My friend has pappardelle with shrimp which also lacked taste. I have had seafood there in the past and it's always been good. Please do not take this as a bad review 'cause the food is normally superb. I believe there may have been a new chef. I shall definitely return to Sette Mezzo. Of note we ordered a custard tart with fresh fruit, scrumptious, at $14.00! Our waitress, Rachel, very attentive and apologetic. The manager did discount a portion of our bill.
