Created by Restaurateur Christian Joseph in 2014, the first iteration of Plate was destroyed in a fire. Reopening in 2019 at a new location, its bigger and better than ever! With an emphasis on the guest experience and hospitality, any evening you spend at Plate is sure to be special. Christian was mentored by Restaurateur Valter Nassi from Monte San Savino, Italy. Christian's grandfather Constantino Lucido immigrated from Frosinone, Italy to New York in 1948. Christian is passionate about Italian culture, food, and wine. His passion shines through in providing a dining experience unlike any other in the area.

I have been to Plate for Happy Hour many times, but this was my first time for dinner. We were not disappointed. We started with the pear bruschetta and truffle garlic bread and both were delicious. The Caesar and Moderno salads were both superb. Everyone at the table had pasta and each dish was delicious - we especially loved the Rigatoni. The dishes all had a little spice - which we enjoyed. Portions were perfect - not huge - but so good we all ate every bit. We ended with chocolate cake to share - which was also delicious. Service was great and so was the atmosphere. Can’t wait to go back!

It's always a great time at Faulkner's Ranch! The Faulkner's are a treasure in Kansas City and are always the best hosts. The decorations are beautiful, plenty of photo ops, food and drink specials and the chance to end the evening with a fire pit and a chance to play with the baby goats and other animals. As evidenced by the fact that they sell out their season, it's the place to be in for the holidays!
