The Valley Restaurant brings a European feel to Niagara dining. Tucked away on a quiet street in north St. Catharines close to Niagara-on-the-Lake this trattoria style restaurant serves homemade Italian inspired cuisine. Everything is made in house from the fresh baked bread, fresh pastas and sauces, gelato and incredible desserts. The menu includes veal, seafood, steak, a variety of pasta dishes including gnocchi, lasagne, ravioli. There is a full cocktail menu and fabulous wine list including local and imported selections. The atmosphere is warm and inviting with a large fireplace, intimate tables, white linen tablecloths and impeccable service.

Proud recipient of OpenTable's Top 100 Restaurants in Canada for 2024!Treadwell offers indoor dining and outdoor dining on our enclosed and heated patio. We are open 7 days a week for breakfast, lunch and dinner.During the Fall and Winter months, dinner reservations are available on Monday thru Thursday from 5pm to 730pm. On Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, we offer two seatings - between 5pm and 6pm; as well as between 745pm and 8:45pm (with each table allocated 2hr 30min). Please note that our menu for dinner is a multi-course, prix fixe menu ($115 per guest). Lunch reservations are available between 11:30am and 2pm, with our lunch a la carte menu being offered. Breakfast is served between 8am and 10am

    For our ninth Valentine's Day dining pleasure at the Cannery Restaurant, we were greeted with wonderful red roses and a spectacular pair for our specific table as well all arranged by my loving and might I say romantic too Wife . Sure we mulled over the entire dinner menu, trying again as we always do ... just what to have. So this time we had a Manhattan and Cosmos cocktail. I have had a Manhattan in Manhattan, but the Cannery one was even better . We decided on the one hundred dollar Valentine's Day special and we were not disappointed. All the servings were Chef quality and in particular the Mushroom Wellington was superb and it should go on the permanent menu. The Chateaubriand was out of this world with tasting pleasure .... ordered medium Rare . Of course the dessert was another winner from the kitchen , which by the way never ceases to amaze us with the quality of good food forthcoming . Our wine was Italian Pinot Grigio, and worked effortlessly with our dining . The Servers , and once again we were delighted to have Melanie at our table , along with a delightful Blonde Lady . And even though it was busy for the servers , Derek managed to wend his way over to our table .23, and greet us which just made our day more complete. KLB

    It had to be the best pizza we have EVER eaten! We went on a Thursday and got the pizza and wing deal…. So worth it!! Will 100% be going back!

    Dinner was amazing. The roasted garlic and goat cheese appetizer was out of this world! We had the veal parmigiana and the pollo ripieno which were both delicious, fresh and hot! Leticia, our server was attentive and wonderful. The chef came out to check on us because of a food allergy...which was so thoughtful. The price for the quality and quantity of the food was fantastic! We will definitely be back!
