Located in the idyllic seaside community of Carmel, Shearwater Tavern features breakfast and dinner within the Carmel Mission Inn. Our dinner menu has a selection of smaller plates to share along with some larger individual plates. We have partnered with a local dairy, coffee roaster, honey purveyor and bakery. Our Chef Fabian Di Paolo's menu is New American with Influences from his Argentinian, Italian, Floribbean roots. Our cocktail program features beautiful classic and specialty cocktails along with craft beer and California wines. You must try his House made Parker House rolls.

Dametra Cafe is a casual Mediterranean restaurant. Here, diners can expect high-quality healthy food delivered quickly in a relaxed atmosphere. The decor and styling of the dining room is distinctly Greek, specifically like one of the many coastal cities that the country is known for. Between that and the hearty portions and prompt service, Dametra Cafe sits nicely between an upscale restaurant and quick-service places.Dametra's Cafe features primarily Greek cuisine, with some Italian and Spanish thrown in for good measure.     Our food was delicious and the service was even better. Our server as well as the manager came to check on us several times throughout our meal, which we appreciated. We had the calamari strips, steak tacos, and lobster ravioli, all which were amazing. We will definitely come back next time we visit the Monterey area.

    Customer service was very good. We had Thanksgiving dinner and felt the food was overdone. The menu notes Parker House rolls, which were only a hodgepodge of dinner rolls. And the “brûlée” sweet potatoes were just mashed. The salad was very sad and wilted.

    Thank you Christian for such a wonderful dinner experience on our anniversary vacation at Anton & Michel. You were an excellent Maitre D’ Hotel just like our old friend Luiz of past years! David was a very friendly and professional server! The french onion soup was made to perfection and the short rib dish was one of the best I have ever had! To round off the evening, David prepared one of the best cherries jubilee ever! Thanks again for a memorable 5 star dining experience!

    The hostess was abrupt and not very friendly but everything else was perfect. Our waitress was fun, offered great selections, and provided excellent service. The atmosphere is wonderful. It has a real, subtle Italian feel in an old home. The food is amazing. I had the cannelloni. It was perfect size and perfectly cooked. The bread with the tapenade is a must. My friends’ meals were excellent too. Love this place.

    Aabha is our favorite Indian restaurant in the Monterey area. Their decor is peaceful and menu variety is extensive. We enjoyed lamb korma and tandoori sea bass. We look forward to returning.
