In the war, Imad's restaurants were destroyed and he was forced to flee the country in search of safety for his family. Making his way from Lebanon through Europe, Imad shared his skills cooking for other refugees, up to 400 at a time, and found even in the most challenging times, his passion for food and bringing people together to celebrate life was strong.

Goldies’ menu focuses on the use of a wood-fired grill, with a selection of small and large plates connected by rich, smoky flavours. Highlights include a Merguez Scotch Egg with harissa mayonnaise, Marinated Baby Chicken with smoked yoghurt, and Grilled Wild Mushrooms, Baby Leek, and a confit egg yolk. In a nod to the founders’ French roots, variations of the iconic Frites are the signature of the restaurant, which are hand-cut and twice-cooked, in either beef dripping or vegetable oil.The design of the space is centred on the expertise of wood-fired cooking, with kitchen counter seating to create a dramatic dining experience for guests.     Food was very good as always, we had the ‘As good as it gets’ set menu. Service was dreadful though, my wife ordered a glass of Rose and after waiting 5 minutes we called the same waitress over to ask where her drink was only to be told they had run out of Rose. She then ordered a glass of white wine, and after waiting a while again, still didn’t receive it, so she decided to go to the bar to ask for it but was told it would be brought over. Still nothing, so she had to go to the bar again and ask where it was and again was told it would be brought over. Finally it was served to her at the fourth time of asking! When the bill came we were charged for 2 glasses of wine, so I had to ask for one to be taken off!

    We had a wonderful time at Hawksmoor Air Street. Our waiter was very attentive and helpful. The food was delicious and so were the drinks. Unfortunately it was very noisy but still manageable. Thank you very much for this once in a lifetime experience ☺️

    Wir waren hier zum brunchen. Hat alles wunderbar gepasst - eine tolle Auswahl und qualitativ hochwertiges Essen. Im Vergleich zu anderen Frühstückslokalen preislich für das was man bekommt auch angemessen. Gehen hier wieder hin ☺️
