This restaurant was a recommendation from a manager of another upscale establishment in the area. The food was excellent, beautifully prepared, the environment was fun and festive. Live music(!), what a treat for two out of town visitors. This is not a place for a quiet meal, but if you want a lively, fun, delicious experience, this is it. Try something new, go for it! Also, they made you feel welcome here. How often does that happen. My only regret was not trying one of their rum drinks. Don't be me.

My husband and I dined here to celebrate a milestone birthday. We really enjoyed every single part of our meal. The bread and Boursin butter was delicious, as was our calamari appetizer and of course the steaks. I got the filet and my husband enjoyed the boneless ribeye. We both chose the potato croquettes for our side and never regretted the $2 up-charge. I also got the pixy stick martini — super sweet and unique! We will definitely come back the next time we visit Louisville or Lexington!

First experience with 19. We had an early reservation and it was busy but not crazy. Our serve was prompt. We ordered drinks & wine and shortly received bread with yummy butters and oil- very good! I ordered the Wedge and it was perfect. Large enough for 2 with all the fixings. Absolutely delicious- Husband had prime rib and ate every bit of it with the exception of some fat to be shared with our pups. I chose the 12 oz strip and it melted in my mouth. Cooked perfectly for my taste. We shared the corn and mashed potatoes. Both cooked beautifully but the corn was magical. When we left the restaurant was full-we thoroughly enjoyed our dinner. While not cheap but well worth it.

This is a wonderful place to commemorate a special occasion! We chose Jeff Ruby's to celebrate our 20th Anniversary, and it was a meal we'll not soon forget. The ambiance is incredible, I only wish we could have heard the piano player from where we sat. Daisy took amazing care of us, and made us feel welcome and right at home! She went over the menu, and offered recommendations. Her smile puts you at ease, and her genuine attitude was a sheer pleasure! The wine list is extensive, and I was very pleased with my selection, the Innocent Bystander Moscato was perfect. (I am NOT a wine connoisseur, I just happen to like a good Moscato. Don't judge my pairings, lol!) I cannot say enough about the food! TRY THE WAYGU MEATBALL!!! Incredibly delectable!!! The oysters Rockefeller was divine! The aged New York Strip was by far the best steak I've ever tasted and cooked to perfection, and the Sea Bass practically melted in my mouth. Jeff Ruby's, We've eaten at the Gordon Ramsey Steakhouse at Caesars, and you all absolutely blew them away!!! Thank you for a most memorable night!

Our next door neighbors and our best friends joined us last night for another great dinner at Grassa Gramma. Mimi was our server and did an excellent job and most of us ordered the Monday night special: an unbeatable deal. The seafood Imperial is one of the reasons our friends go to this restaurant, and he enjoyed this dish again last night. Service was excellent, food impeccable, atmosphere incredible.. Can't say enough good things about this restaurant. If the background music would match the atmosphere?
