Atria's History The original Atria's in Mt. Lebanon was owned by Italian immigrant Joe Atria and dates to 1930. It began as a grocery store, then expanded into a barbershop and dry cleaners. In 1933 prohibition ended and Atria's began to sell beer. Along came food to feed the hungry - both highbrow attorneys and blue-collar working men alike. In 1998, Pittsburgh natives Pat and Nancy McDonnell transformed Joe Atria's historical Mt. Our food and service was great. We had the salmon, the Mediterranean platter and the short rib. All were excellent. Shared the caramel popcorn sundae for dessert.

Our lunch at Houlihan's was quite tasty and reasonably priced. They had the fireplace lit. It was so cozy on a gray, rainy day.

Love it. Great menu, lots of excellent choices. House salad is fantastic. Got a filet which was a great cut. I know, at a fish place…but I’ve had a lot of fish there in the past, almost all wonderfully done. Would recommend
