Since 1987, we have been making our vision a reality. Our family's goal is to bring a festive atmosphere and fresh flavors to the fun city of Bastrop. Our inspiration comes from the town of Chapala, one of the beautiful cities that surrounds the largest lake in Jalisco, Mexico. Our authentic cuisine originates from our family recipes from the central and coastal regions of Mexico; Mainly the states of Zacatecas and Jalisco. Together with our extended family and staff, we strive to create a genuine traditional Mexican experience. We offer over 200 tequilas and other agave distilled spirits. Sonya Cote, the James Beard Foundation WEL alum and Texas chef known for Eden East, now adds Store House Market & Eatery in downtown Bastrop to her portfolio.  A proponent for local purveyors and a pioneer of using locally-grown ingredients for both nutritional and environmental purposes, Cote transformed a nearly 175-year-old, historic two-building property at the corner of Main and Pine into a seasonally-driven restaurant and market that will showcase the local area’s bounty. The a la carte menu features rotating mains and sides, using ingredients sourced from Eden East Farm and other Bastrop producers.

ATX Cocina experiments with the boundaries of Mexican cuisine. We have taken traditional Mexican dishes and elevated them with modern approaches and techniques. Corn, the basis of the Mexican cuisine for thousands of years, is also the foundation of our kitchen. We nixtamalize and process our masa in house sourcing it from heirloom varieties of corn grown by small family farms in Mexico.

Sammie’s is a little taste of old Italy in downtown Austin. It celebrates the great ‘red sauce’ institution—inspired by old school, legendary Italian-American restaurants.     Perry's never disappoints. We were there this time for Thanksgiving. We had reservations for 7:30 and had to wait 30 minutes as they were backed up, but the service and food made up for the delay. A couple of us had the traditional turkey dinner with more than enough to take home left overs for another meal. My husband ordered off the regular menu and had the sea bass which was excellent as well. Normally we love to go to Perry's before a show at the Paramount Theater and just sit at the bar for appetizers and drinks. They do make the very best Caesars salad we have ever had. I highly recommend Perry's Steakhouse for steaks, seafood or even Thanksgiving dinner!

    Wonderful food, atmosphere, and the server was attentive and at the same time very down to earth and did not give us a feeling of being rushed. We've been To Aba a few times and the food is always spot on. Incredible flavors and presentation

    Everything was amazing! Our server, she was fantastic and lighthearted. The food was outstanding and the patio was very comfortable.

    The hosts where lovely and offered us the kitchen seating over the bar - such a cool experience! I Our server was attentive and the drinks came out quickly for all being craft cocktails! This was my partners first time here and after being sat for maybe ~ 10 minutes ~ we booked another reservation for next month! We got bone marrow, caesar salad, rigattoni, yukon potato's and the porterhouse! Our server did talk us out of the tomahawk which was smart, considering we have Turkey leftovers to eat but we WILL be trying it next month! Thank yall 🤍 Also a free desert and a card signed by all the staff for my partners birthday was such a cute touch! We'll see yall soon!
