Toku’s cuisine is predominantly Japanese with influences from China, Korea, and South East Asia. Ingredients and cooking techniques throughout the world create the Modern Asian menu. Owners Gillis and George Poll have dined all over the world, and have come across a variety of dishes that have really impressed them, “the best of the best.” According to Gillis, “We put together our favorites and added our own unique twists to them.” George emphasizes the menu’s ease and variety. “It’s a straightforward, casually written menu which allows you to dine any way that you’d like.” Guests may enjoy traditional meals with an appetizer, entree and dessert, or dine exclusively on sushi.     We were celebrating a birthday. Asked for something special but the only extra provided was a menu that said happy birthday. The restaurant manager went around to many tables but only passed by us and never checked in. The appetizers were great but the entre, a porterhouse for two, was not that good. The steak had a bacon taste, something I have never experienced with a porterhouse steak at any steakhouse. The service was a bit slow and I only had my waitress attending to us although she mentioned having a partner that never materialized. I have been to Morton’s various times and have never had a great experience.

    Great taste, great presentation, good portion, excellent service - dine here for all that. Acknowledged a birthday celebration with complimentary dessert, candle and sing along. Vast menu so certainly something for everyone’s taste. Beautiful dining area but their take out does not disappoint either. We love either options.
