Alma is an award winning Honduran restaurant located in the historic New Orleans Bywater, just outside the French Quarter. Alma means soul in Spanish. Celebrated my birthday here and had a fabulous time!! The workers are so attentive and so incredibly nice!! Every time my friends and I come here they make us feel at home!! The food was delish…definitely get the beet and kale salad and the truffle Mac and cheese, trust me. Shoutout to our waiter, David and the manager, Bert!! We can’t wait to come back 🎉🎉🎉🤗🤗🤗

A hidden gem! Very hospitable staff and a very nice menu. Pure, well balanced flavours and excellent preparation of the fine and very fresh ingredients. Excellent wine choice too. We had a surprising natural savagnin wine matching every course. Usually not much of a desert lover but the chocolate cake blew me away anyway. Paired it with the dry madeira to accommodate for my European non-sweet tooth. Do not miss this restaurant.
