ARNETTE'S Chop Shop is a modern take on the traditional American steakhouse and features a contemporary, chef-driven menu, extensive wine list and a well-curated craft cocktail program. The restaurant’s interior was created to compliment the industrial modern design movement, exposing the natural character of the reclaimed warehouse while blending vintage, classic and modern design influences.The restaurant is split into two levels. The dining room is appointed with custom wood and leather booths, banquettes and tables. The main level also boasts an open kitchen complete with a custom built wood burning and open flame hearth and charbroiler. The lavish upscale bar is positioned on the second level above the main entrance and dining room. The bar has a contemporary yet warm den style ambiance with a open air terrace. The ceilings are low and the walls are adorned with paintings of famous musicians of past and present.

Nobu Atlanta is situated at Phipps Plaza in the affluent Buckhead neighborhood. With influence from Atlanta's lush canopy of trees and Japanese arts and crafts, the bar and lounge area features a white onyx bar volume that sits in front of a 12-foot-long river rock art installation while folded cast glass pendants cast a soft glow on the bar.     I visited for lunch to celebrate 1) St. Cecilia’s feast day in the Catholic Church and 2) the publication of my first book. I noted these in the comments of my reservation and they added “Congratulations” to my paper menu! It was a lovely touch. The server suggested champagne and made a few food recommendations, which were delicious! Great experience!

    A wonderful experience start to finish. The Wagyu starter was out of this world. A true highlight off menu feature. Terrific presentation; unique without overpowering what A5 brings of its own. Ribeyes were just right. Many places in Atlanta have good food — Amber was taking great care of us and is a true professional. She made the experience. Well done all around.

    Me and a friend decided to dine here for dinner and I’m so happy that we did! The ambiance is classy and lively. The food is top notch, prepared to perfection, and delicious. We ordered a few of the starters (wagyu meatballs, baked oysters, and crab claws) that were magnificent, followed by dinner plates that blew our minds. Definitely a 10 out of 10!!
