We find that busy people like simple food—the busier they are, the simpler the food. Our menu is straightforward, down-home Southern food with a few more contemporary dishes.Getting back to the table allows us to love and nurture each other and renew connections to our families—however they may be configured—in this diverse and ever-changing society. Such connections are crucial in a fast-paced world where we feel more disconnected every day. One of the best ways we know how to restore that daily balance is to sit down at our table.We should all think about returning to the sanctity of the table, where we can rebuild our families whether they be given or chosen, and reconnect with those we love and choose to love. Our table is a familiar, uncomplicated, friendly place where we can celebrate.

    Walnut Room Holiday Brunch was fantastic. Of course the Christmas decorations are amazing. Service was very good. The wait staff professional and accommodating. The brunch lines were not long and food fresh. They served the typical breakfast foods with pastries and fresh fruit. All very good. There were complimentary photos with option to purchase others. I have to say photographer Ronit Bezalel did an amazing job capturing my husband and me. I expected the traditional stand in front of the tree type photo, but Ronit was much more creative. Don’t pass this up if offered. A great holiday breakfast. Cheers!

    We hosted a holiday event at Harry Caray's at Navy Pier and enjoyed the outdoor curling lane and igloo along with fire pit. It was easy to order food / drink and take in the festive lights and environment. We played a few rounds of curling, took pictures and warmed up using the Winter Lodge within the restaurant. The service and food was great and our group had an outstanding experience!

     Service was helpful. She was nice. The food came out piping hot. The biscuits melted in my mouth. I love the little apple jam on the side was excellent and the chicken awesome a nice crust on the chicken which made it crispy moist, and the house made hot sauce. Awesome. We will be back.

    Took my family here before the drone light show. We showed up and felt way underdressed but service was great and the food was even better. No complaints at all. I would definitely come here again.
