My daughter and I visited Aura at Notre Dame, so we wanted dinner near the venue. This restaurant was lively and upscale for our first night in Montreal. We finished at Aura early, and the hostess welcomed us never even questioning our presence despite the packed dining area. We enjoyed the salmon tatare as an appetizer. My daughter devoured the steak frites as her entree, and I did the same with the lobster. To finish, we shared the crème brûlée. While the price point is high, the service and dishes are well worth it.

I recently visited this place and overall had a pleasant experience. The ambiance was lovely, and the staff were attentive and friendly, making the visit enjoyable. The menu was a bit on the pricey side. However, the one disappointment was the donuts. Unfortunately, they didn’t taste great—lacking the flavor and freshness I was expecting. Considering how good everything else was, this stood out as a letdown. Still, I’d recommend the place for its overall vibe and service, but I’d probably skip the donuts next time.

Each dish was a masterpiece, showcasing impeccable flavors and thoughtful presentation. To top it off, we savored an exquisite Armagnac that perfectly complemented the meal. The service was out of this world—attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about ensuring a remarkable dining experience. Toqué is a must-visit for anyone seeking an unforgettable culinary adventure. Highly recommended!
