Formerly a banking hall it was transformed by owner Jeremy Mogford to become Oxford's largest and most successful restaurant.     So often a restaurant menu has very little I actually want to eat. Today at Quod I could have chosen many of the things on the menu! I chose one of the specials, a Caesar salad with king prawn and anchovies. Delicious, very grown up. Then yummy cheeses with crackers, chutney, celery and apple. And a bax colada. Great meal. Wonderful South African waitress. Great ambience. Expensive, but the cost of living crisis is reflected in the increase in restaurant prices.

    Amazing good, extremely tasty! One of us is allergic to garlic which can be a massive pain and sometimes we get a bit of push back about it, but it wasn’t an issue at all and there was still lots of choice for them. Drinks were lovely. It was very busy with it being Christmas Eve but service was still amazing, especially from Rob the manager! Will definitely be coming again!
