Chocolate Buddha undertook an AMAZING renovation in 2019 by Maddison Architects. We have a 22 seater SUSHI TRAIN open Wednesday to Sunday lunches 12 - 3pm and Wednesday to Saturday Dinners 5 - 8pm it includes an EXPRESS train which delivers hot food ordered via a tablet. We offer QR menus at each table for ease of ordering, splitting bills and menu with pictures and descriptions. This type of ordering is optional so always let us know if you prefer to order with us. Finding harmony between authenticity and originality is something that first ignited the flame at Mesa Verde back in 2013 and continues to feed it today.     I loved the high energy atmosphere, the food was AMAZING, we got the feed me menu and every single plate was exceptional, great choice of cocktails too, would highly recommend and definitely go back next time I'm visiting Melbourne.

    We love this place. The staff are friendly, the location is perfect, smack in the centre of Melbourne and close to everything. It’s a cozy little restaurant tucked away from the hustle and bustle of pedestrian traffic. The food, magnificent! Every meal we’ve had here has been superb. Make sure you book ahead, it’s popular.

    Always great! Our request to have a table with chairs with backs was fulfilled… i even received a message confirming that would happen. VERY reassuring and personal for such a busy restaurant - THANK YOU. The service was fantastic as we had to leave by a certain time. Highly recommended 😊

    If you're even in Melbourne for a holiday or a local, you're life won't feel as fulfilling until you've experienced Meatmaiden, I can't make this up! The food was impeccable, the service was amazing, and the atmosphere is second to none. If I could afford it, I would go every night.
