Blacklock is a modern version of the Great British chophouse. Set in an old electricity substation on the site of London"s oldest meat market. Quite simply, this is one of the best restaurants in the world. The food is incredible. Every course was absolutely delicious, the ambience of the dining room is unfussy and welcoming. The staff are all friendly and efficient. And Brett Graham, the chef, takes his time to come to every table, explaining the dishes and chatting to his customers all through the night. Incredible. Up there with Core and The Fat Duck as my favourite restaurants in London, and one of the best dining experiences of my life. Stunning. I’m already planning a return.
