BEHIND EVERY GREAT SEAFOOD RESTAURANT IS A WAREHOUSE STOCKED WITH FRESH SEAFOOD. The Fishery Restaurant & Market is located just a few blocks from the ocean in North Pacific Beach. The restaurant menu reflects ‘coastal cuisine’ with a simple yet serious focus on the best our coastal fisheries and local farms have to offer. The passion that drives Chef Mike Reidy is evidenced by flavors that can only be achieved using ingredients at their peak of seasonality and freshness. The Fishery was awarded the prestigious Award of Excellence for its Wine List from Wine Spectator in 2018- Present. Our wine list is inspired by the great wines of Europe and their American counterparts and we strive to showcase real, natural, food friendly-wines with a sense of place.The Fishery Market showcases fresh fish, prepared seafood, salads, sauces and marinades.

An authentic but unique Milano gourmet pizza, a special dough recipe, an innovative pizza-making process, high-quality Italian ingredients, a holistic approach to the food and beverage world, a focus on sustainable agriculture and farming, along with a deep love for Milano, where Andrea, Giacomo, and Luca grew up, and for San Diego, where they studied, worked and became who they are now. These are some of the concepts that make up the Ambrogio15 project. The idea was born in both Milano and San Diego, in the minds and the hearts of three young Italian guys who decided to leave the corporate world to begin a new adventure of passion, friendship, and a bit of foolishness.

Inspired by the literal “captain’s quarters” of 17th century ships, guests will be transported to a luxurious and moody adventure on the high seas. Captain’s Quarters will feature a star cocktail list devoted to various explorations in gin cocktails. For non gin lovers, Beverage Director, Eric Johnson has put his innovative twist on various cocktails concocted with Rum, Mezcal, Bourbon, Tequila and Vodka as well as a small beer and wine selection. In addition to fine spirits, SDCM Executive Chef, Brian Redzikowski has put together an adventurous yet approachable menu which will range from elevated tidbits such as Manchego-Prosciutto “Sandwiches”, Burrata Donuts & Papa's Braves to more substantial fare including Captains Quarters own Double Double. Captain's Quarters kitchen closes at 10PM. Walk in's only after 10PM for Beverage Service. Walk-ins available for Dinner Service based on availability but Reservations Recommended.

    We usually come here during the day for the view, but the food is always on point, so we tried it for an evening celebration. December in San Diego is not the typical winter weather, so we sat outside, and with all the heaters, the temperature was perfect. As always, the food did not disappoint, and our server was wonderful!!! It's of our favorite places on the water!

    If you like fresh seafood, this is definitely the place for you!! But it’s not just the seafood that’s great, their salads and soups are amazing too!! My husband had the clam chowder and it was thick and rich- whole clams (not diced up little pieces)….and I had the chicory salad which was a lot more than just chicory….it had dates, blue cheese, persimmons, pumpkinseeds. I was so delicious that I ate the whole thing (but honestly, it’s a shareable portion). I had the macadamia crusted halibut which was perfectly cooked and the sauce was the perfect accompaniment. My husband had the scallops with squid in risotto….also delicious! We will definitely be back and bring friends next time!!

    I was so impressed with the service. We never waited for anything. I was cold, but due to Christmas decorations they could not use the heaters- without me asking they brought out a hot water bottle to help keep my legs warm. So nice. I had the pasta with the Langoustine - it was tasty. But the best part of our meal was the deconstructed tiramisu- it was delicious!! I want to go back just to get dessert!! I would definitely recommend eating here. Reservations are a must.

    We love French Gourmet! They catered our wedding 36 years ago and their food and service was as excellent then as it is now. It is our favorite place to gather with family and friends and is always a wonderful and special experience. Cheers to you!
