Tarantelli’s is located on Second Street, just one block from Front Street and in walking distance to the Cape Fear River. The restaurant and event venue is located in the historic district of downtown Wilmington. This lively area spans 230-plus blocks and is home to some of the best bars, restaurants, churches, architecture, and selection of fine art. There are several parking facilities nearby, but you can also reach Tarantelli's year round via horse drawn trolley and carriage, river taxi, trolley cars, or on foot.

We are open for carry out and for dine-in guests. The balcony tables are available first come first serve upon reservation. Chef Thierry has been cooking since age 13 in some of the finest restaurants in Europe & USA. His cuisine is influenced by many traditions; Patricia comes from the northern part of France near the Belgium border, while Thierry's origins are deeply rooted in the central provinces of the country. According to Chef Thierry, “I want everyone to feel welcome in my restaurant. We are working against the stereotype that French food must be intimidating and expensive.”

    Everything was very good. However, the French Onion soup had too cheese on top, that was really stringy and had to be cut with knife. Leah and all of the servers were great!

    This was an exceptional dining experience! The menu had lots of choices and it was hard to decide. The recommendation for bar b q oysters was perfect! Seabird has ambiance without being stuffy, a friendly, knowledgeable serving staff and is all around next level!

    We always enjoy Riverside and love that we can walk or golf cart over to it. If I’m not very hungry one of their great appetizers and a side salad is perfect. If you get dessert, you can’t miss with “the brownie”……4 of us shared it the other day and it was just enough….it is YUGE, warm, and scrumptious with vanilla ice cream as the perfect topping! ❤️

    Floriana is a must when visiting Wilmington. Chris made our experience incredible. We loved the pecan salad, the lasagna, and the shrimp and scallop risotto. Extensive wine selection and wonderful atmosphere. We will be back!
