The Friars' Table features dishes including hearty soups and stews, seasonal salads, Salmon St. Celestine and braised lamb shoulder along with wine and cocktails highlighting simplicity and tradition.The Friars' Table was uniquely founded by Brother Phillip Bernier of The Capuchin Ministries of Cleveland in partnership with Brandon Chrostowski of EDWINS Leadership and Restaurant Institute. The mission focus on serving those in our community working to improve life through cuisine and education.

"Betts" is a tribute to Elizabeth Schofield, wife of Captain Levi Schofield and our namesake. The space is cozy yet airy and feels like a mix between a restaurant and a very cool home that you’d happily want to reside in all day.     Christopher took care of us really well. Despite being arguably one of the best steak stops in Cleveland? We went for the seafood tower. Mac n cheese side and a chicken spring roll app. Food was incredible, everyone was attentive and the ambiance was superb. Honourable mention: the bananas foster desert is table made and done so beautifully. 10/10

    This was our first visit to Friar's Table and we had a wonderful experience! We love the decor, the service, the food and the very friendly wait staff! I thoroughly enjoyed my salmon with the beets and oranges as a side. My husband and daughter got the beef stew as an appetizer and found it absolutely delicious. The only issue was that my daughter got a lot of beef in her cup and my husband got a lot of broth. But this is an easy fix! In addition, my daughter enjoyed a delicious salad and my husband enjoyed his chicken dish very much! We will be back for sure! Great job everyone!

    All four of us went to dinner before seeing a show at Playhouse Square. The service was top shelf and the food was excellent. We were eating off each other’s plate because it ALL looked so good. 😊 our waitress was beyond impressive; in fact the whole staff was in excellent form. This is our 8th or 10th visit this year and they never disappoint. Bravo 👏!
