After a two-year closure, Original Joe's, San Francisco’s quintessential Italian-American dining destination, revitalized iconic Daly City institution Joe’s of Westlake, and reintroduced it into the community as Original Joe’s Westlake. An anchor of Daly City from 1956 to 2014, Original Joe’s Westlake underwent an extensive two-year renovation, complete with a front-to-back interior remodel, including the kitchen and all dining spaces, and an exterior and landscaping overhaul. Following the Original Joe’s tradition, Westlake continues to prepare unpretentious, old-school Italian-American fare in an open kitchen for all to see. The menu is carefully crafted to reflect a past-meets-present hybrid of what Joe’s of Westlake used to be and what Original Joe’s Westlake is today.

Welcome to Elena's -- a place where a family’s love for authentic Mexican food is celebrated and combined with California-inspired elements and signature Mexican-American dishes. We offer reservations for up to 8 guests via OpenTable. At the time of your reservation, we kindly request the entire party be present to be seated.     Been a customer here for over 50 years. Nott hensame owners but original Joes in SF knows their clients. They improved the ambiance at Westlake Joe's but the food remains the star. Burgers on the sourdough, stellar. Wish the fries were still steak cut though. Salads were yummy and ample in size. Just go and enjoy the Italian we grew up with in the SF Beach area.

    Our favorite restaurant in San Francisco. Whenever we’re in town we come multiple times. We ALWAYS leave happier than when we came. The food (try the pork chop, if it’s on the menu, with a glass of Pinot noir), service and vibe are consistently rave worthy. NOPA is the very definition of what a restaurant should be and is - gracious hospitality and delicious food in a wonderful setting. We’ll be back! Thank you.

    We loved the experience! We went with 4 people, everyone was very happy with their food as it was all interesting, creative and delicious! Service was spot on, great ambience though pretty noisy. It's not cheap, we spent 100 dollars per person including the tip for a shared appetizer, an entree and one drink (no dessert ). It was well worth it and we'll surely come back.

    Best pork chop ever. The tuna appetizer was tasty too. A special night out that myself and family enjoyed. My son commented that the selections were “real Italian dishes” the kind you would get in Italy. Authentic. Would definitely recommend to others. Attentive service but not overbearing. Nicely paced.
