Bata is a restaurant designed to celebrate the best our region has to offer. We cook over a live oak fire, on our custom fabricated hearth. Our menu changes daily. We mill AZ grown grain in house, daily. We focus on whole animal butchery, done in house. We have an extensive fermentation program. Our bar program largely focuses on wines that are organic, biodynamic, and produced with minimal intervention. The cocktail list highlights the best products of the season, with a carefully curated list of spirits from across the globe. We believe that our hospitality is just as important as the food and beverages we put on the table. We do not encourage our restaurant for young children.     We got there later than expected, almost at closing time and our waitress-whose name I failed to get- was amazing! Not only was she welcoming and understanding, but she didn’t rush us and even helped me prep a birthday cake for my son. Service was impeccable, food was delicious and we’ll definitely go back. Look for her and trip her well, she’s the beautiful brunette with long eyelashes who closed down the restaurant on 2/17. Thank you for your service!

    We were celebrating Valentine's Day one day early and are so glad we spent it at Doughbird. Their wine list is small but very, very good. The food was terrific and our server, Brooke, made our night even more special. The staff was friendly, the atmosphere was lively. We will be back.

    The menu is diverse, with something for every palate. The service was excellent and seating was very comfortable. The staff and patrons made for a fun and vibrant atmosphere. Food was top notch.

    Second time dining at a Fleming’s. Service was excellent, one of the major reasons we returned. We like our meat cooked “no pink” (well) and it was good but just a touch over done. I got the Land & Sea special; stuffed shrimp was just ok. We really like how accommodating the staff are, efficient yet personable, friendly, and welcoming. They all made my husband’s birthday celebration special. Will definitely return.
