We have zero tolerance for aggressive behaviour.The Boatman, is Windsor’s only pub on the river at the foot of Windsor Castle overlooking Eton Bridge. Serving freshly cooked food all day everyday from midday to 9pm at night, in the cosy bar, restaurant or in the stunning riverside all-weather conservatory, there is a fine selection of wine, ales, cocktails to choose from. The bar area and terrace is dog friendly, we cannot accept any pets in the conservatory or restaurant.

We are situated at Windsor Racecourse Marina, (next door to Windsor Racecourse), and we have lovely views over the marina and Windsor racecourse. During the colder months cosy up next to the roaring fire in our Shebeen where we serve our full menu We are dog friendly throughout so you can bring your pet pooch as long as they are well behaved. There's free parking, lovely relaxed seating, a lively Shebeen bar and friendly staff waiting to serve exotic meats, espetadas - (our signature dish which is a skewer of meat or seafood, dripping with marinade over your side dish), sticky ribs and much more. Lovely South African wines, creative cocktails, extensive range of gins and even Don Pedros the South African 'milkshake cocktail'.

Plenty of delicious choices on the menu; all those we chose were extremely tasty and more than came up to expectations. This was our second visit here after a very good experience earlier in the year and we were certainly not disappointed. Everything, including the warm welcome and friendly, knowledgeable service and of course the superb food and drink was excellent and we can’t wait to return! A perfect way to start our Christmas celebrations.

Really enjoyable trip to The Ivy Windsor. We were a group of three who visited for breakfast. I had the avocado and poached eggs and two pots of decaffeinated tea. Good service (although a little slow when we were ready to leave). Very good food. I love the decor and the ladies toilets were spotless and had really unusual wallpaper. Would definitely visit again.
