The Village Anchor offers a unique setting in Louisville’s east end, both for personal and professional occasions. The Village Anchor Restaurant and Anchor Bar on the main floor bring together stone, red leathers, rich worn velvets, wrought iron, dark woods, Italian appointments, Carrera marble, and the original crimson red beer taps from Churchill Down’s Silks Bar. It offers an upscale-casual, fun environment with an inimitable European flavor and exotic French flair. The lower level Sea Hag Pub offers a completely different look and feel.     We’ve been to several Capital Grille locations, and the restaurant in Louisville matches the wonderful experiences we’ve had in Washington, DC, Tyson’s Corner, Va. & Hartford, CT. It’s our go-to place for special occasions & celebrations. Everett was our server, and he was engaging, knowledgeable and anticipated our wishes. We had the calamari which was tender & delicious & the sliced fillet with Cipollini onions & mushrooms. The fillet was prepared perfectly. My wife who was celebrating a milestone birthday, also had the Expresso Martini, and I had an In Fashion both excellently prepared. And the complimentary birthday dessert was exemplary. We will definitely return.

    Wow wow wow top tier in every aspect. Osteria Italian Seafood is the best of the very best in our amazing foodie community. From the food presentations by Chef Seth and everything in the restaurant that is under the watchful eye of owner Jared Fox Matthews and his wonderful teammates it is total perfection. From the second you enter the restaurant everyone is so proud and incredibly talented making for a 5 star experience .

    Excellent food and service. Soft Christmas music was playing and the ambiance was soothing festive. The tables had a lovely floral and candle centerpiece. All of the food was excellent however I must rave about the salad wedge, its the best I have ever had.
