Located minutes from Point Udall, The Far East Restaurant has been making waves since it opened in November 2022. Our popular sushi dishes and steakhouse items have had locals and tourists from all over St. Croix talking about this new concept from within Grapetree Bay Hotel. Since we are right on the water, you can enjoy cool breezes while eating our house-made eggrolls, soy-glazed salmon, or sesame chicken. This restaurant was a team collaboration between 2 chefs and ownership of the hotel to accomplish and we are excited to be open now 3 nights a week!

For a break from the sun, stop by the bar for a frozen drink, ice cold beer or specialty cocktail. Hungry? Come by lunch or dinner for a specialty pizza, Sunset burger, Gourmet sandwich or fresh salad. From 5pm-Close try our whole snapper, rosemary lemon chicken, Mediterranean steak or vegetable primavera. Friday is BBQ rib night. Happy hour is 4pm-6pm daily. Since 1996 in Cruz Bay, St. John. A Favorite of locals, loyal repeats and new guests. We just moved to our new beach location as La Tapa Plage in March of 2022, still featuring the same interesting ever changing menu including fresh local seafood, organic greens & herbs form Coral Bay, flavors with a touch of Spain & France (Basque Country), Germany and Caribbean. Our goal is to make you feel welcome, cozy and inspired by our great wines, delicious food, good service in a beautiful atmosphere. ---Open for dinner service at 5PM Friday through Wednesday. For parties larger than 6, please call the restauarant at 340-693-7755.---We will be open for Thanksgiving, but closed on Christmas Day.---December 24th through January 1st our menu will be adjusted to a Prix Fixe menu. Price TBD.---**We do not have high chairs or booster seats. If you need either, we do have bench seating in the dining area that work's best for small children. Excellent experience. The parking is a problem. The lower lot was full and we had a hard time parking. I had to go into the front desk and ask. It is up a very steep hill by the tennis courts. We are 75 and 74 years old and walking up and down a very steep hill was a challenge. They should have valet parking. The hill was like a black diamond slope. LOL. Hard on the knees. Everything else was perfect!!!!

This was our 2nd visit, the food was amazing! We've eaten at almost every restaurant on St. Croix, and very few come close to AmA's quality of food, and service. Chef Phillip, and Chef Anthony are some of the most talented chefs I've ever had the pleasure of dining with. Our Server Jada was beyond nice, and was very knowledgeable of the way the food was prepared and sourced. I highly recommend AmA to any and everyone!
