Gwen Butcher Shop & Restaurant is the second restaurant from fine dining chef Curtis Stone (of Maude) and the first he’s opened with his brother Luke Stone. Gwen is both a European-style, chef-driven butcher shop and a restaurant that is redefining dining in LA, with a menu that calls on fire-based cooking techniques. Whether you’re picking up house-made charcuterie, prime and rare breed meats from the retail store, enjoying a feast in the dining room or relaxing with a bite and cocktail at the bar, Gwen delivers the highest standards of quality, taste and service.On Wednesdays-Sundays, we offer Chef's Carte Blanche 5-course tasting menu for $130 per person (limited quantities available).     Absolutely fantastic. It was a thanksgiving pre fixe which in past experiences in other restaurants has always been mediocre. This was not the case. Everything was perfect including the wine pairing. Initially, we were bummed it wasn’t the normal menu since we had never dined here before but my fiance and I both agreed we were happy it ended up the way it did. 10/10. Staff were excellent and attentive. They read all the queues perfectly and showcased lots of knowledge in all categories. Go here. You will not be disappointed.

    TAO was such a great experience! Food and service was amazing and the ambiance was perfect for a birthday dinner! Great options that we could all share which made it easy to try multiple things. Will be back!

    We had a wonderful anniversary dinner! Our server, Jen was so friendly and kind. Immediately gave us complimentary Prosecco to celebrate. She reviewed the menu with us and advised us based on preferences. We had the mozzarella bi bufala, the orecchiette, raviolo, Caesar salad, and the braised beef cheek special. Everything was so delicious! Cannot wait to go back!

    Food and ambiance at M&F outstanding as ever. (I do wish they'd heat the bread, tho.) But this trip they outdid themselves in service. My dear companion now uses a cane and walks quite slowly. The valet noticed and actually drove him around to the front door where I met them having come down the stairs and secured our reservation. On leaving a member of wait staff lead him out a side door to the curb while I brought the car around. They made the night of my dear's birthday even more wonderful than just the dinner. This is old style service, above and beyond. Three cheers for Musso & Franks.
