The Broken Bit is... A classic American Cowboy steakhouse with a unique dining experience that combines contemporary American Cuisine with a Western Flare. The Broken Bit is located in Quartz Hill, a small community that takes pride in its country western heritage and lends itself to cowboys and cowgirls riding horses down the streets. The Broken Bit uses only premium aged USDA All Natural Black Angus Steaks, free of Hormones and Antibiotics. Our Steaks are hand cut and seasoned with our Broken Bit Steak Spice then grilled over oak slowly searing the meat in its own juices while adding a mild smoke flavor. We also offer a wide selection of other items such as: Fresh Seafood, Chicken and Lamb Chops.     Thankfully we were able to get a last minute reservation, it was our first time here and we had a great experience. Both me and my boyfriend had prime rib, and it was cooked to perfection, we had mash potato’s and spinach for sides that were also delicious. Cocktails are also very good here. The service was great everyone was welcoming and attentive. This is a great place to enjoy some great food, definitely will be going back.

    Food and ambiance were excellent. Service was slow and a little inattentive. Our reservation was at 5pm and we were sat very quickly but we did not leave the restaurant until almost 8pm because our server would leave us unattended for an extended amount of time.

    We ordered the campfire feast. Everything was cooked exactly the way we ordered. Waitress was extremely attentive. It was Valentine's day and they were extremely busy but the wait was minimal. We did have reservations. Will definitely go again

    Today, was the first time we didn't have a great experience. We waited almost 20 minutes after being sat to get our drink order in. They were out of the vinegar powder for the potato wedges which was a disappointment. My medium rare jam burger was medium at best. It was hard to get our second drink order in. They were very busy tonight so we are hoping they were just understaffed this time as we have always had good experiences before.
