The original library and drawing room of Taypark House is the perfect home for our impressive restaurant. Each room enjoys uninterrupted views across the botanical gardens and the beautiful, shimmering River Tay. We've sympathetically restored these two rooms to highlight their original features, whilst adding our own modern vintage twist - like the hanging teapot lamps dangling from the ornate plaster ceiling, or the cluster chandelier with pretty, patterned lampshades draped from the central rose.     Food was exceptional 👌 must admit i thought it was a pub and pleasantly surprised it wasn't, the girls were smashing, we're in Dundee for Christmas from East Coast of Lincolnshire and whilst we're staying will definitely be returning to this little gem 💎

    Excellent festive afternoon tea, great food and excellent service. Really enjoyed the sausage rolls and scones. Festive cocktails were delicious.

    A very cosy and intimate venue. Food is absolutely delicious, staff are so considerate if you have a special occasion to celebrate. Great vibe at The Selkie!

    Fantastic night out! Booked in here for a catch up with some old Uni friends as we used to frequent this bar while at Uni. Looks much better than it did back in the day. Staff all super friendly and chatty despite it being so busy. Food was great, we got the side plate deal and it was more than enough for us to share. Can't fault it. Will be back next time we're in Dundee :)
