Opened in August of 2012, JoJo’s Restaurant & Tap House quickly became a staple in Downtown Frederick. Chef Bryan Voltaggio found inspiration in a former Frederick car dealership showroom and transformed it into an open, airy space, with a long counter fronting an open kitchen serving modern American casual meals. Showroom serves Brunch seven days a week from 8am until 4pm and Dinner until 9pm Sunday through Thursday and 9pm Friday & Saturday. Adult beverages include boozy milkshakes, craft beers, wine, & signature cocktails. Signature dishes include Fried Chicken with Buttermilk Biscuits, Meatloaf, Chicken & Waffles, and Duck Fat Fried Potatoes.

Manalu is a new authentic Italian restaurant by Chef/Owner Marco Pontecorvo. The name was to combine all three of his family members names. MA for Marco, NA for Naomi, his daughter, and LU for Lucia, his wife. Manalu's goal is to bring a taste of Italy and a touch of Naples in the town, by serving authentic Italian cuisine and the original pizza Napoletana cooked in a brick oven. The atmosphere is very cozy and warm, perfect for family and friends. Manalu` also has a full bar and happy hour Mon-Fri from 4pm to 7pm. Happy hour also includes a food menu with delicious appetizers.

    The octopus was exceptional: grilled crispy, yet moist and tender on the inside. The combination with harissa and salty nuts was superb. Haloomi also very good. Mains: scallops with corn, a fun surprise; filet, nicely prepared.

    Another wonderful meal. and fabulous service. The crab soup was great, just enough spice . The cottage pie was just as tasty as last week . Ordered the risotto this time and it was so so good. We had the pumpkin creme brulee and the honey ice cream. The ice cream was great but the pumpkin OMG was good. Service was was over the top again . There are places in town that would benefit learning what they do there and hiring the students to improve their establishments. Never fail to amaze .

    As always, an excellent experience at Dragon Distillery!! The staff is friendly, funny and professional as all get out!! I love the cocktails, especially the Poison Apple Mule, soooooo GOOD!! And the smoked pulled pork sandwich, OMG delicious!!! And my wife and had a blast throwing axes, which we both were really good at🤣 Thanks Dragon Distillery for always being my number one goto!!!
