A Diner's Choice Award winner for the last 12 years! Legendary Medium Rare offers a unique, prix fixe dining experience of artisan bread; a mixed green salad; prime, dry-aged steak (with our secret sauce); and hand-cut fries (Vegetarian option always available) in a relaxed, fun, environment. Please allow us 15 minutes to seat you after your full party has arrived and after checkin at our host stand. As we do only one thing, we do our best to make the food and experience exceptional and also a good value. Located in a former auto shop in the vibrant Montrose neighborhood near The Menil Collection and Museum District, Clark’s Houston is the third and largest location of our popular neighborhood oyster bar and seafood restaurant. Opened in Fall 2023, Clark’s features freshly shucked oysters, crudo, lobster roll, daily fish specials, caviar and blini, bowls of chowder and cioppino as well as a much-loved burger and shoestring fries.The restaurant specializes in martinis and signature cocktails as well as an extensive Champagne and wine list. The design is light, bright, and airy with nautically-themed touches including a centerpiece fish tank, teak wood furniture, bright white walls, and blue and turquoise tones.In addition to a marble-topped oyster bar and dining room, there’s a large, covered patio for prime people watching and oyster slurping.     Overall the experience was great. I was a bit disappointed that, two days prior to Thanksgiving, we were told they didn’t have the ingredients for the drink we ordered, there were no collard greens (should be a staple) and the desserts were limited. The server we had was spectacular and definitely represented your brand well. The place looked beautiful but I’d note the music was quite loud and for the price point I expected more of a jazz type feel as opposed to really loud hiphop. Overall it was a good experience and we will visit again.

    Love this place! Food and service are excellent! The only thing I would not order again is the butter nut bruschetta. Was meh! Every thing else is excellent!

    Our dinner at Drake’s was just what we needed for a date night and a special time together for my boyfriends birthday. I appreciate the grace as we were running late and the team was accommodating and kind, even though we were behind schedule and closing was at 10p. Thank you for the hospitality. A little bit of kindness goes very long way.
