The Arch is a elegant yet casual upscale restaurant. Everything about the atmosphere is meant to relax guests and make them feel at home. The Arch does this through the jazz that is played softly in the background, as well as the warm table lamps that illuminate each table. The seats closest to the windows overlook The Arch's garden, where the kitchen staff hand picks the herbs needed for various dishes. This is an ideal place for a romantic evening out with someone special.The menu at The Arch is entirely a la carte. There is primarily classic French dishes on the menu, with a few new American classics added in as well. Popular items include the Herb Cured Gravlax, Baked Escargot with herb garlic butter, Honey Roasted Duckling, and Daube of Beef Bourguignonne.

Primavera has known many lives as both restaurant and residence. Originally built by a member of the Purdy family, one of the original settlers in the area, it was also known as the 1864 House, so named for its date of construction. Although the building has been renovated several times, the bones of the house are still recognizable, especially as one looks up to the charming garret, whose flat roof, sometimes called a widow’s walk, often served as an observation platform. Mona Trattoria, a family-operated Italian restaurant that operated for some 30 years, followed after the home was converted to a restaurant. In 2002, actor Stanley Tucci bought it and renamed it Finch Tavern, renovating it with dark wood shutters and soft yellow banquettes that feel fresh today. In 2006, Jimmy Gjevukaj and his family took over the premises and relaunched the restaurant as Primavera, continuing the tradition of fine Italian dining in a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

The restaurant is named after America’s most famous founding father, Benjamin Franklin. While he was pinnacle in America’s birth, he also became the first ambassador to France. While on trips to Paris, he would wine and dine with the best of them and when he returned, he would bring back the French culture, food and wine, and share it with our new nation. Dishes like Potato Lyonnaise and Crème Brulée were the first of his favorites he shared with America. The Benjamin reflects that bridged gap between the two countries’ cultures. The restaurant and bar is french-inspired, but uniquely American. It sits in Ridgefield's historic district in a 1875 house, but the interiors are modern, elegant and new.     Amazing food and phenomenal customer service. I left an item behind and the staff went in when the restaurant was closed to make sure the item was still there! Above and beyond! We will be back again- and again!

    An enjoyable experience. Brunch was outstanding, there were mostly lunch dishes that were equal to dinner!, This made the price of Brunch acceptable. Asparagus Soup was amazing!!! The best we have had!, Main course was also outstanding! Service was great!!!

    My wife, son and I went for Restaurant week special menu. We had the French onion meatballs, ricotta and honey appetizer. For main course the Sauerbraten short ribs, eggplant lasagna, and for dessert apple cake, cheesecake and pudding. Everything was delicious and service was excellent.

    Waiters were very professional and attentive We tend to be sat in the middle of the room which has a lot of traffic But they sang Happy Birthday to my daughter and worked hard at the service

    Overly generous portions, extensive menu and extremely fairly priced. Service is top notch, wait staff is accomodating and patient. Place is immaculate, you can eat off the floors. Food was incredibly tasteful, absolute perfection from top to bottom. Would HIGHLY recommend!!!
